Anthem of the Seas Review Part IV – Questions answered about cruising. Plus, things that were “mid” about Anthem of the Seas
You know it’s a good thing when, after you return from a vacation, you have to strain to think of things that weren’t good, or, were merely “mid”. Hard as it is to believe, there were a few aspects of the Anthem of the Seas cruise ship — and in Alaska — that didn’t wow us. Not many. But a few. Plus, your cruise questions answered.
Anthem of the Seas Review Part III — Onboard Shopping – Regrets from our Alaska Cruise – Plus, Suite, Balcony, or Inside Cabin, you be the judge
One of the first things you notice on a cruise ship is there’s never enough time to do everything that sounds interesting and fun, no matter the destination.
Anthem of the Seas Review – Part II – Eat your fill on Anthem of the Seas – You can’t save it in a doggy bag!
The Suite Lounge, if you’re staying in a suite, is quite a benefit. Each day, starting at 4:30, guests can, while in the lounge, order pretty much whatever you want and as much as you want in terms of alcoholic beverages. It’s almost like having a beverage package without keeping a count.

One of the most difficult things for non-cruisers or first-time cruisers to understand is the fact there’s so much to do on a ship that it simply isn’t possible to do it all, especially if you run your sailings like we do, which is to take advantage of as much shore time as possible.

The final stop on our Alaska cruise was in Seattle, Washington, a relatively new western city with a reputation for beauty — and Bohemian oddities. We visited the first Starbucks location, grabbed a coffee and visited the infamous CHAZ (or CHOP).
Alaska Cruise Review Part V — Alaska ports of Call – Victoria, Canada, Butchart Gardens, Spaghetti Factory and Big City
One part gardens, one part history museum and one part Amusement Park, Butchart Gardens is quite a place. I’m not sure admissions are limited to capacity, but I’d imagine on the most crowded of days that the sidewalks could approach standing room only.
