President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced that he planned to hit the campaign trail in the 30 days ahead of the midterm elections. “I’m gonna be campaigning for numerous people, both Congress — a few governors, I love the governors — but we’re interested in the Senate and we’re interest in the House,” he said. “I will be going to Alaska,” he also said, indicating he would support Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska, in his contentious reelection bid. That race has been complicated by the inclusion of another “Dan Sullivan” on the ballot.
