President Trump endorsed Texas AG Ken Paxton in the Texas Republican Senate primary runoff, boosting Paxton’s challenge against incumbent Sen. John Cornyn just one week before the May 26 primary election. In a Truth Social post, Trump called Paxton a “true MAGA Warrior,” praised his loyalty, and expressed hope that, as senator, he will be able help pass the president’s top legislative priorities, which are currently stalled in the Senate. “Ken is a Strong Supporter of TERMINATING THE FILIBUSTER and, very importantly, THE SAVE AMERICA ACT.”
