President Trump said Russia agreed to put millions of tons of diesel on the American and global markets as diesel prices sit near record highs. Trump wrote in a Truth Social post after a call with Russian President Vladimir Putin that Russia “will immediately supply over 300,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel to the American and Global Marketplace, another 500,000 Tons during the month of November, and 1,000,000 Tons immediately thereafter.” He said Russia would then deliver another 3 million tons “within a short period of time.”
