President Donald Trump signed an executive order Monday regarding childhood vaccines, which separated the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine into three different shots.
The order recommends administering the separate shots across different visits, and directs the nation’s health department to improve vaccine research. He did not specify how far apart the visits should be. The president also stated that vaccines for hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza, among others, will no longer be recommended for all children.
